Paramedical science is an upcoming career that promises high salaries and a bright future, not only in India, but also overseas. Since there is still a dearth of professionally qualified paramedical professionals, there are several institutes, which have initiated courses in this field. These sources are basically designed to train dental technicians, physiotherapists, x-ray specialists, MRI specialist, nurses and many more. Without the help and focused insight of these professionals, doctors would find it hard to perform their duties.

Job Prospects

Many companies like Pfizer, Dr. Batra's and Ranbaxy, are indulging in setting up corporate paramedical centers across the country, while Roche, Lab India and other medical instrumentation companies are also employing paramedical specialists to add to their expertise. The demand for Indian nurses and physiotherapists is so high that the professionals can get very lucrative jobs like the USA, England, Switzerland Germany and others.
